Kathy Burke profile
Over the years, Paris has been Kathleen Comstock’s base for studies, professional employment, and much travel. Fluent in French, she has used this knowledge to make friends, learn and appreciate the culture, and take lots of pictures, both mental and real, so as to retain imagery of the country she considers home for part of each year. In 2008, she and her husband Scott purchased an apartment near Montmartre in Paris and have since enjoyed renovation projects as well as welcoming friends to one of the greatest artistic cities in the world. Kathleen writes for bonjourparis.com in addition to maintaining her own web site, kcomstock.com. Her latest collection of short stories on France can be found at amazon.com, “Vieilles Filles and other Stories from France”. Her memoirs and a non-fiction account of her Paris apartment search are expected to be available through e-publications in early 2012. Stay tuned!
