So many of us want to travel to Paris. But in a time when air prices are sky high and the floundering dollar leaves Paris nearly unattainable, we’ve all got a little penny pinching to do. As long as you’re a seasoned traveler or with a large group, hostels are a great alternative to see the city and save a bundle.

    This friendly hostel offers double rooms and dorms as well as a communal bath. And you can’t beat the prices – the highest is 22EUR. Plus groups can get even better rates and save up to 10%.

  1. Le Montclair Montmartre, 62 rue Ramey, 18e

    Le Montclair has convenient doubles, twins, and dorms each with their own shower and toilet. It has excellent access to the city center as well as the French countryside. 29EUR.

    This hostel offers double and triple rooms with twin beds and dorm settings. Each room does have its own shower but toilets are shared. 30EUR.

    Thanks for the round up ... These prices are extremely reasonable in today's economy. But it doesn't seem as if it were long ago when you could snag a single room (especially if you're converting the price into dollars) in a decent hotel. Clearly not the Ritz ... mais quand meme.
