Long and mild summer nights allow for a lot of exploring Paris after dark. Paris might be more beautiful after dark then it is during daytime.
I visited the Sacré-Coeur atop Montmartre and took this image about 30 minutes after sunset when there is still a small amount of ambient light in the sky.
The Sacré-Coeur was impressive the first time I set eyes on it and it still impresses me today. I also enjoy seeing it from various angles in the city; one of my favorite views can be seen as you approach the southern end of the Jardin du Luxembourg in the 6th Arrondissement on a very clear day.
If your travels bring you to Paris this summer, enjoy the spectacular lighting all around the city after dark.
