Go to the Eiffel Tower and go HERE

The star of the boutique is the children’s nightwear collection, Le Marchand d’Etoiles, for which the store is named.   The line includes pajamas (for babies and children) and nightdresses, t-shirts, bodysuits, underwear, and slippers as well as bedding for newborns and young children.  Everything is made from materials carefully-selected to provide ultimate comfort and cosiness, with a sense of style and sweetness, for the night.

For visitors and tourists, Le Marchand d’Etoiles is a perfect, convenient and fun stop with the kids, or the ideal Parisian spot from which to bring home something unique for them.  The store is located within one block of the prestigious department store, Le Bon Marche (in the 7th arr.), and more importantly for owner Lassalle, it is close to a concentration of parks and schools, and is therefore very family oriented.  She knows, because it’s the area where she raised her young children for over two years.

As an American-turned-Parisian, Lassalle offers both English-speakers (and French, as she is fluent) a shopping haven. She understands and provides the top customer service that Americans expect from retail – one of the reasons she became a top seller at all her prior companies and then a part-time personal shopper.  Especially for Americans in Paris, she knows how to deal with any concerns regarding payment, taxes and shipping - the last things an adult wants to deal with when trying to watch a child.  Her expertise also includes understanding children’s bodies, how to be fashionable yet practical, and simply having that natural instinct for people and personal style, no matter what age.  Visitors might even be able to cull some adult-shopping advice from Lassalle while shopping for the kids!

In addition to the clothing line - which is already distributed through approximately 80 retailers worldwide, including Takashimaya in Japan – Lassalle’s boutique carries custom baby cribs and bassinets, pillows and sheet sets, stuffed animals, books (in French, English and Spanish) and other accessories.  The offerings will expand with time.  Lassalle will be scheduling bedtime storybook readings in English and French, at least monthly, depending on demand.  She also plans to implement special events around holidays.

Located at 3 rue Chomel, 75007, Paris, the hours are Monday through Saturday from 11:00am-7pm, and the telephone is 011-33-(0)1 42 84 42 02.  Email is:  al-marchand-etoiles@hotmail.com.  Please call or email for events/readings schedule.
