April 2010 Paris Events
April welcomes spring running through the gardens in Paris where tulips and cherry blossoms abound and blanket the City of Light in fresh spring colours. Monet’s Gardens officially open to the public for the season and we get to put away our winter clothes and enjoy long strolls outside again. However, since it is always a good idea to have a destination, here are this month’s happenings worth taking a stroll to in Paris!

Billy Budd, Conductor Jeffrey Tate – April 24th through May 15th
An opera sung in English is not often found on the Paris stage. Based on the confrontation between good and evil, and set on a battleship this is considered to be one of the most grand stage designs in opera today.
