Let us not forger that the Monoprix (as the name implies) was once a "dimestore" in the traditions of the Kresge stores, They came a long way since then. They did not used to stock "name" merchandise at that time.

Monoprix is great as one of the few options in France for paying less. But as far as I can see they still hold list prices on branded items sacred. It's the "House Brands"that are cheaper. There are a few non advertised discount places in France but they are few and far between. Advertised discounts on branded items are essentially USA exclusives.
Surprised you list CVS as a USA price mecca. Don't know where you live but in NY CVS is wedded to high list prices except for weekly sales and if you are a member you get a discount for a 3 month period.

I love Monoprix. When I found it, I was estatic! It was like a mini Wal-mart/CVS!

I very much doubt, they are sold anywhere else than at that department store.
Maybe, its web page says something. I doubt however, they ship to the US or even allow to buy online. They have their catalogues sent to customers. I believe you then order by mail (exclusively in France, I believe).
Don't forget, it's sort of budget store, but very good for certain items.

When I was in Paris, I purchased some wonderful perfumes at the Monoprix. Does anyone know if there is a website or some way of still purchasing these perfumes from the Monoprix now that I am back in the U.S.? I now wish I had purchased more! They were so inexpensive and they smell so wonderful.
