Al:

I hate to contradict you but that's precisely what I've done in this post. My spelling is atrocious. I don't want everyone to suffer or have people think I'm illiterate.

Try it - you might like it!

something more than a few words, I write it in an email - check the spelling and copy and paste.

I remember in one of our previous formats, that wouldn't work. Going from one system to another, the pasting came out in hyroglyphics.
I am all for more trip reports ...
Past and future.

Al - please tell us about your upcoming one but if you would please, post it under trip reports!!
Merci
It's great to see the board so active again! If you've been to France recently, don't be shy; please post a trip report - or any report!
Oh sigh - do you think we could ask Webster's to change to spelling ... Merci.

See? Arrrgh!
I missed this thread before! Ellen, thannk you for your kind comments. :)

I too wish there were a way to edit posts; I hate looking at the page later and seeing my typos and such jumping off the page at me!
Ellen ....can you hear me screaming? If there's a typo, you should see a red line highlighting it. If I'm writing something more than a few words, I write it in an email - check the spelling and copy and paste.
It should not be that way -- but it's not a perfect world!!! sigh.
Is there any way to correct a typo once a reply has been posted? It's hard to proofread this miniscule font! I just tried, but it posted my response twice...
I am sending an email to Stacy right away!!
Stacy, where are you? Your insight about Paris is so valuable; hope you start posting again soon!
Be still my heart!!! PLEASE PLEASE sign up in the envelope --- and perhaps you'll receive notification of posts. I say this with my fingers CROSSED ...

Very tightly.
