Lot of spam lately

Not too long ago there was an article about Google ads and how refined their computer is with recognizing web and even posting content and being able to place ads based on what they "read" . In a thread say about Provence they have the capability to automatically place ads relating to that area.

Actually our exposure is not real automatic spam. These are real individuals who pick their spots by design even to the catagory of the thread they pick.They actually have to enroll in BP in order to post.

Probably simpler, in that the automatic, random addressing of the spammers have hit the BP part of the "dialing". On Aug 5, at my company (Lockheed Martin), we had a new high (or low, depending on the point of view) of 5 million hits of spam that day. According to our IT people, a normal day is 2-3 million spam hits. Since about June, I get 5-10 "leakers" per day through the spam filters. With that much activity, each of the spammers must have many zombie computers.

Jean -- I know! And each click generates revenue for Bonjour Paris. Why they rotate throughout a site about France is a mystery. It must be that France is the most romantic place in the world!

The Google ads I was referring to were for dating services--nothing at all to do with travel.

As for the SPAM - never tap on a link. NEVER ..

Some of the "ads by Google" are a bit questionable too.

there have been alot of Spam postings lately, mainly selling electronics and medicines. I know I have been putting them on report and the powers that B have been deleting them with all speed.

Please note that the latest Tramaq0193 is infected with a virus. These are easily recognizable...always a new member name and the posting subjects are obvious.

It does not pay to open these postings unless to put them on report. They are being taken care of in quick order.
