As for your deleting your "cookies", do you also delete your temporary Internet files?

Actually I prefer not to remove my cookies but they go automaticallyu with temporary files which I understand are most important to remove.

For the past few months this Forum has accepted me only as a guest rather than as a regular member that I have been for over FIVE years and in order to get the latestest posts in reading order and yhe ability to answer and engage in the activities I am doing now, I have to sign in each and every time to erase the error in red marks, sometimes multiple times. The powers that B claim it is my PC that is the problem and I claim that the Forum for some reason is not accepting my cóokies.
I am having no such problems with banks, brokers and other web sites similar to BP. We did have one of the most active BPers (BPCHUCK) with the same problem a year or so ago and he has left us.

Anybody around having a similar problem?

I had the same problem for a while but not anymore. I am not aware of anything I did to correct it.

I also have Vista and I have not experienced the problem with Vista.

Even the emoticons are screwed up there.

Not mine mon ami rolleyes.gif
My emoticons are doing just fine blink.gif
Better get those "Emoticons" fixed Al... laugh.gif Very important at our advanced age wink.gif
Moi, I have Windows "VISTA" and AOL 9.0VR and those two versions trying to work together are bad news... For me anyway...

Take care and have happy Hollidays...
Mike
Of course I've deleted cookies.....although I don't like to do it it is a standard process to keep the PC working correctly. But no help.

I am doing this on the Forum because I believe this problem involves others. Even Karen told me she had a sign in problem.

For your info, I have Windows PC and my AOL is Security Edition with no complaints. I am sure the problem is not with BP Web site but with Invision...for the problem exists only there. And as I mentioned before I have no problems with my banks ,brokers or any Web site similar to BP. I'm sure Invision is creating the problem. Even the emoticons are screwed up there.

OK Al, let's forget about the "empty suit" politicians, none of them are worth even mentioning their names...let's get to the most important stuff about your BP problems or your "electronic companion" problems...
I also have some minor problems reaching the BP forums...
Each time I connect to BP, I must re-enter my screen name and my password, whereas in the past they remembered both unless I Logged out...
Do you have Windows "Vista"?
If so did you install AOL 9.0 VR? (VR stands for Vista Ready)
I have both and it is sometimes a real nightmare...
Contact me by E-mail if you like to compare notes regarding this problem...
As far as the forum not accepting "your cookies" you may want to delete all of them and start all over...
I have had to do that a lot lately with Windows "Vista" and AOL 9.0 VR...
Take care...
Mike
CAP'N.....don't agree with your explaination about Jacques. You know the way I feel about Bush and our activity in Iraq but I feel stropngly that Jacques opposition to the war does not excuse him from creating a situation that in all actuality ensured a Bush sucess in creating the war. But something more important for now.

Returning to Sarko, I prefer to stay away from the subject because I am afraid that I would ruffle some feathers...

All depends whose feathers you'd ruffle. I remember you weren't too happy when Jacques was utzed. Just how do you feel about Sarko? wink.gif

You got it all wrong M'sieur BPAL...
I was no admirer of "gesturing Jacques" but I always said he was right on refusing to go to war for the Cow Boy... a war predicated on lies and deception...
If, Bush and his gang had listen to Chirac, 4,000 of our soldiers would still be alive today instead of dying for nothing, and tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians would not have been slaughtered...
As for Sarko? Just what France needed, a "Neo con" that sings the American Neo Cons' tune ...
Ask and you shall receive...
Mike

I just purchased this book, but haven't read it yet. Anyone here read it, and if so, what did you think of it? I'm looking forward to reading what Sarkozy has written in this book.

Hello young Lady Teresa...
I very seldom visit the forums anymore, but I am glad to see you back... Especially seeing the lack of responses to your post, I truly wanted you to know that at least one of us was not ignoring you... Nothing to brag about coming from me, but better than nothing...
