There was a very funny article by David on his "neighbor" outside Paris in the New York this month and yesterday, on NPR, he talked about a very funny incident involving an American couple on the Paris Metro, who assumed he was a Parisian and a pickpocket.

Mimi -- thank you for highlighting this interview. I've met David numerous times. He's a pleasure to be with -- so unassuming. You don't get the feeling he's playing to the public. He isn't the least bit arrogant which is refreshing especially compared to some of Paris's authors.
